Days 0: Free Airport picks up service to the customer.
Our guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) / Arusha Airport (ARK) and take you to our office in Arusha. As local Tanzanians, our guides know well the country and Arusha city, so you’ll be in good hands from when you arrive to the moment you leave. You will have our free accommodation at ARUSHA TOURIST INN HOTEL (Center of City near big supermarket and ATM’s and Shopping areas)
Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park.Manyara is arelatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’snamesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park,flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands offlamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra,wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy Plains, but also primate filled Woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After your tour and game drive in the Park, you will drive to Fanaka Lodge/ Twiga lodge / Africa Safari Glamping where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner and have an overnight.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a spectacular View of the Ngorongoro crater.
Continuing as far as the eyecan see is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti mean “endless plain” and this6900 sq. mile (18000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 millionwildebeest. From January to April is the seasonwhen wildebeest givebirth to their calves and also hundreds of thousands of plains zebrasand Thomson’s gazelles. Large predators including lions, cheetahs and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat earedfoxes, mongoose, honey badger, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. After the game drive, you will return back to Domel wilderness camp Serengeti/ Shuhudia adventure camp.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
You will Wake up very early so as we can enjoy a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park to spot animals when they are more active and also to witness a fantastic African sunrise; one of the most spectacular sites one can experience. You will then return to camp for Full Breakfast, check-out and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. After a full game drive in Serengeti, you will go to Ngorongoro Rhino lodge/ Angata luxury tented lodge in Ngorongoro for an Overnight.
Day 4: From the Lodge to Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals When they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa Including the rare black rhino.
In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in theplanet. It contains a river, several swamps, and soda lake that, from thetop, looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. Large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich minerals content of the Volcanic soil and its grasses. After Your game drive, you will drive to Fanaka Lodge/ Twiga lodge/ Africa Safari Glamping for an overnight.
Day 5: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will make the short drive to Tarangire NationalPark.Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From theopen roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. It’s possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After lunch in the park, you will proceed with game drive, we expect to be back in Arusha around 6:00 pm although we can be flexible if needed (i.e. flight to catch). Likewise you will be transferred to curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you. After long day in the crater and drive back to Arusha you will spend the night at Arusha tourist inn hotel.
